Recognizing the position of synthetic bags on a Euro pallet
Application and Solution
Europallets are fed via a conveyor belt to a robot system, which automatically removes the layers of bags and deposits them on a longitudinal conveyor belt. A time-of-flight camera detects the positions of the polymer bags fully automatically and transfers them to the robot coordinate system. The evaluation takes place in the VisionCommander® image processing software.
