Technical Integration
Neuralyze runs on-premise and on edge hardware or on plant computers. Training and inference are clearly separated: You train the models in the lab, and they then run on the production line. With Neuralyze Desk, you or your customers can also retrain models directly at the plant without relying on external data science resources. This shortens response times and reduces dependencies.

Sales Models
Neuralyze is available as a software-only license. The Pro license is tied to a single computer or available as a USB dongle, and it covers both training and inference. Each Pro license includes a free Explore license, which can also be used for development. Volume licensing is available upon request.

FOR QUALITY ENGINEERS

The Right Method for Every Testing Task

Vision AI enables applications to be solved through automatic optical inspection that were previously either difficult or impossible to address. Although rule-based algorithms remain significant, their capabilities are sometimes limited.

When to use traditional methods, and when to use AI

Vision AI is the right solution when dealing with high variability, complex surfaces or difficult-to-define defects, or when unknown defect types may occur. Rule-based image processing, on the other hand, is preferable when objects can be clearly described and have defined geometries and tolerances, or when deterministic results are required. In practice, combining both approaches often yields the best results.

Why Expertise in Image Processing Remains Indispensable

Despite AI, selecting the optimal imaging technology remains a critical factor in any inspection system. Similarly, data preprocessing and post-processing after inference typically improve a system’s performance. Sensors, optics, lighting, and data conditioning remain the foundation while Vision AI builds upon them. Neuralyze does not replace this knowledge but rather expands your toolkit.

Industrial AI is best taught using real-world tools. senswork was involved in the concept for the Bavarian AI vocational schools founded in 2025 and has integrated the requirements for teaching AI in quality assurance into Neuralyze. Neuralyze is used as a learning platform at these and other training locations.
