Vision AI Software for Industrial Quality Assurance

 Vision AI has established itself as a field-proven technology in industrial quality assurance. With Neuralyze®, senswork GmbH is now launching a vision AI software solution that has proven itself in industrial applications for several years and is now available as a standalone software platform. 

In production environments, demands for quality, product variety, and throughput are constantly rising. At the same time, it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain manual inspection processes reliably and cost-effectively. This is exactly where Neuralyze® comes in: Instead of describing defects using rigid rules, the system learns directly from image data what good and defective components look like and makes decisions in real time during the production process.

From the Data Foundation to Production

Neuralyze® maps all the steps of a vision-AI project within a single application: from the structured management and annotation of image data, through the training and systematic evaluation of AI models, to deployment on industrial hardware and continuous monitoring during live operation. The focus is consistently on industrial requirements such as reliability, robustness, maintainability, and reproducible quality.

Typical applications include the detection of surface defects, completeness checks, OCR applications, anomaly detection, and assembly and part identification. The software supports both pure AI approaches and hybrid strategies that combine Vision AI with traditional image processing.

Production-Ready Vision AI Instead of a Lab Solution

“Vision AI is no longer a technology of the future; it has been running productively on production lines for years. The challenge lies not in model training, but in reliable implementation under real production conditions,” says Markus Schatzl, Head of the Innovation Lab at senswork. “Neuralyze® was developed precisely for this purpose: as an industrial software platform that enables Vision AI to be operated reliably, scalably, and continuously on production lines.”

The software is based on open standards and common deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ONNX. It can be run on-premises (on the user’s own hardware), supports edge hardware, and offers both no-code interfaces for engineers and APIs for developers. This ensures that the user retains full data sovereignty without vendor lock-in.

15 Years of Industry Experience as a Foundation

Neuralyze® is the result of senswork’s more than 15 years of experience in industrial image processing. The platform has been specifically developed for vision AI applications since 2019. It combines expertise in optics, lighting, mechanics, automation, and data science—disciplines that are crucial for the reliable use of AI in manufacturing.
